A day in the life of........

Today's missive is not at all complete. One might call it a sort of “Half a day in the life of....”. I asked myself: Do “The public at large” really want to see pictures of me tucking in to a hot, steaming cheese fondue? Dozing in front of the television? Sitting in front of the computer? Lighting a fire on this bitterly cold February evening? Of course they don't! The vast majority of them don't care two hoots about what I've been doing today. They don't even know that I exist! Continuing on this line of thought, those of you who do read and enjoy the “Day in the life of....” series must be very special people.
Allow me to present a rather special collection of images, produced for those very special people you take the time to view this site.

Rather out of character I admit, but last night I actually planned for the following day. Before reclining in a chair, I grabbed a snow shovel and removed the majority of snow cluttering up the drive. Thanks to this brilliant piece of planning I had no trouble getting the car out of the garage and nothing stood in the way of the weekly shopping.

Arriving
nice and early at the shopping centre we took the lift …...

…. to the top floor. Before doing battle with fellow shoppers we had breakfast in the supermarket restaurant.
|
|
Fortified with rolls and honey and a life saving coffee we wheeled our trolley through the maze of shelving and happy shoppers. |

Not too bad really. After a warming coffee at home it was time for walkies.

A pleasant stroll through the snow covered countryside saw the morning turn into afternoon......

….... and as already mentioned: I'm quite sure you special, discerning people don't want to see me eating and lazing about doing nothing ;-)
